HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM FRAMING SYSTEM

IMS/AMCO structural framing system (SFS) provides a selection of 14 aluminum extrusions ( 1.50”OD) and 8 types of corner castings ( 0.125” wall thickness) commonly used in all sectors of Industry. The flanges in the extrusions accommodate .125” flat panels or .625” formed panels. With the use of locking (permanent design) or non-locking clips (temporary design) this system is easily implemented for a temporary design, proto-type, or permanent design. Heavy Duty Aluminum Framing System also accepts a variety of accessory options from other IMS/AMCO product lines

  • Maximum Extrusion length is 20’
  • When re-enforced with bolt-on gussets, SFS can meet MIL-STD-167-1 Shock and Vibration.
  • Framing system and/or extrusions can be ordered as completely assembled enclosure or can be supplied as kit for assembly as/when required. Extrusions and castings are available as bulk material for proto-typing or individual projects.
  • Heavy Duty Aluminum System design provides optimal strength to weight ratio
  • Framing system can utilize standard FX Series components — doors, drawers, shelves etc. to expand design capabilites.
