IMS/AMCO Engineered Products is located in Des Plaines, IL. on approximately 300,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing space.
Enclosure, Frames, Cabinets, Racks and Console manufacturing is our core competency.

In September of 2005 IMS Companies LLC acquired AMCO Engineering – enhancing the sheet metal design and fabrication processes – with the consolidation of its EXTON Division – a custom sheet metal fabricator.
In February 2008 IMS/AMCO received its ISO 9001 Certification for its Quality Management System.

With over 65 years of experience, IMS/AMCO is THE recognized leader in the design, manufacture and integration of standard or custom electronic racks, cabinets, enclosures and consoles for all segments of Industry. Its initial role in the market place was as a supplier to the US Military for various projects and programs. That attention to detail created a standard line of enclosures that still sets the industry standard to this date. Seven different standard 19" and 24" rack frame product lines provide solutions for nearly any enclosure requirement. We can also modify standard enclosures products (configure to order), or create custom enclosures to meet your specific requirements.
As an ISO9001 Registered company, we strive to supply the highest quality Electronic Enclosure products, incorporating contemporary design, competitive prices and responsive support. Our Goal is to ship every time – on time.

IMS/AMCO has a Sales Representative located in your area to provide extensive support when timing is critical. We can also supply skilled personnel to assist in all of your Design and Sales requirements.

We welcome visits to our manufacturing facility as we are conveniently located approximately 5 miles from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.

Descriptions are for Four-post Frames that are manufactured by IMS/AMCO Engineered Products. They are availlable in 19" and 24" rack mount widths, a variety of rack unit heights and overall depths, in standard or custom designs.
