The IMS/AMCO Quality System is a tried and true system that has evolved from many years of supplying enclosure designs to the Military, Government and Commercial sectors of Industry. It continues to serve us well to this day as it provides us a barometer - measuring our Sales, Design, Engineering and Manufacturing capabilities with our customers’ expectations.
Our Quality System was originally created and based on Mil-I-45208 to meet the requirements of our Government and Military Customers. In the early 90’s we refocused our Quality System to meet the ISO 9000 guidelines for a Quality System Management.

IMS/AMCO Engineered Products is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company. The current registration covers sheet metal products, fabrication, value-added & integrated assemblies, AMCO brand designed modular enclosures, Paint & Powder coating applications.
ISO 9000 is a standard for quality management systems developed by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO registration assures customers that IMS/AMCO has a formal system in place to monitor, control and improve the quality of each and every one of its processes. To maintain ISO registration, independent auditors review the IMS/AMCO Quality Management System and its processes. ISO 9001 Certification may eliminate the need for customer audits, saving our customers time and expense.
IMS/AMCO Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the Quality Manual and implementing the process controls that assure the quality of IMS/AMCO products. This includes documentation regarding quality of products and processes, training of all personnel, internal and vendor audits, continuous improvement, calibration of measuring tools, and periodic reviews of the management system.
The central document for maintenance of the IMS/AMCO Engineered Products Quality Management System is the Quality System Manual. The Quality System Manual provides direction and instruction for everyone so that we can realize our organizational goals. The Quality Manual and the Quality Management System is the responsibility of the IMS EP ISO Management Representative. This manual, along with our Standard Operating Procedures, provides complete documentation of our Quality Management System.
